I received news from Frank Beamon’s family that Frank pased away on 5/11/2013 .
Frank was a great resource for information for a lot of families who were missing relatives in action.
His passion was helping locate information relating to military people and data. He will be missed by us all.

I posted some info on the upcoming 2014 reunion today. It is under the REUNION TAB, 2014 reunion section.
I also have posted a TON of pictures from the visit in March 2013 to the P.I. by 3 of our members. Check them out.
They are listed under the Pictures,Video & More TAB–P.I.Trip 2013 section.
enjoy and remember back when !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The three amigo’s have returned from the P.I.
Jack Fisher, Mike Kane, and George and Karen Perkins had the pleasure of returning to Cavite City for the month of March, 2013.
They have sent me a ton of pictures which I will start posting to our web site. I will create a new TAB under Pictures,Video & More named P.I.Trip 2013
and the pictures etc will be found there. In addition they are writing a little story of their travels and they will be posted there as well.
They ALL agreed that Cavite City has more poverty than when we were there, (which is hard to believe it could be much worse). More on that later
keep checking the site, the pictures will be up this week
Guy
I have added some new items for you.
check them out
I am traveling to Pensacola, FL this week to begin seting up our next reunion. I am thinking the week of Oct 5,2014.
I will be staying and reviewing the Holiday Inn on Pensacola Beach. Here is their website.
http://www.ihg.com/holidayinnresorts/hotels/us/en/pensacola-beach/pnspb/hoteldetail
It is one of the few that has a ready room /banquet room large enough to accommodate us.
Our last reunion in San Diego, Oct. 2013 we had over 120 people attend.
I am expecting over 100 for the next one. I have received a price so far of $134/room.
Each room has a microwave/fridge. It is right on Pensacola beach.
I would like to hear comments/ phone calls etc. about the location/price before I finalize this deal.
The Holiday Inn where we stayed in 2004 is closed.
I will keep you posted on the progress.
Our VP40 reunion groups Ships Store is UP and running as of today.
check it out.
