I am still seeking pictures from our reunion. If anyone has some they took while there, and want to share them please digitize them and email them to me

at [email protected] I will post them on our site. If you have them in the OLD film version send them to me and I will digitize them and return them to you.

I am in the process of ordering the hats, shirts etc. that people ordered at the reunion.  I will ship them out to you as they arrive to me.

I am also in the process of setting up our own shipstore. You will be able to order  direct form the VP40 web site OR order via email/ phone.

I will publish when this is up and running (soon).

I would like to thank everyone for making this reunion very enjoyable for me. We had 73 members and 117  total people attending, a GREAT turnout.

It was a lot of work but I received some great help. Cudo’s go out to Bud Taylor, John Hall, Jim Bonner, Mike Swall, Dave Fulcher among others.

In case you missd this one we will have another. In 2014 it will will be in Pensacola, FL.  in the October timeframe.  Stay tuned for more details..

We have had 15,054 page views since it went online 9/2011. It has been 1 YEAR.

Congratulations…………..  I am glad to see it being viewed so often. That is the reason I started it.

Do you remember where you were on 9/11/01 ?

It seems like everyone remembers where they were the day Kennedy got shot and on 9/11/01.

I was in the P.I. when Kennedy got shot. We had a recall (in the night) and on alert.

on 9/11 I was at the FAA Boston ARTCC, on the NAPERS (National Outage Report telcon). An Air Traffic Controller came up and asked for the key to the tape room. All  Air and Ground voice communications are recorded to tape.

And for that matter so is the Radar path recorded.  He was sure they had a hijacking in progress. (they did ). We watched and listened as events unfolded. A very busy day.

let us not forget 9/11 and remember that the USA still has enemies and to stay ever vigilant.
