I received this email last week from the daughter of E. W. Myers, our CO from 1960-61.
Message: I treasure your website. My father was E. W. Myers, CO during 1960-61. We left Sangley Point for a year’s tour in Trinidad before my father’s final tour of duty in Wash, DC.
He retired in 1965, having loved his time in the USN. Thank you so much for the wonderful pictures and great memories.
